Terms of use

These terms are between you and Artur Artsabliuk ("we", "I") for the Jeklar app. Using the app means you accept them.

What Jeklar is, and is not

Jeklar suggests workouts based on what you tell us and what your gym has. It is general fitness guidance, not medical advice, and it cannot see you train. Exercise carries risk. Check with a doctor before starting if you have any condition, injury or doubt, stop if something hurts, and use equipment as its maker intends. You are responsible for how you train.

Your account

You need to be at least 16, give a working email, and keep your sign-in to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Gyms, photos and ownership claims

Gyms you add must be real places or your own space, and photos must be yours to upload. Claiming to own a gym means it is true and the proof you submit is genuine; we may refuse or remove a claim and its gym. By uploading photos you let us show them in the app to people who can see that gym; you keep every other right. We may remove any gym, photo or account that breaks these terms or the law.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are sold by Apple through the App Store as auto-renewing subscriptions. The price and period are shown before you buy; the subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and is managed or cancelled in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. The free plan and each paid plan's limits are shown in the app and may change; changes to a paid plan apply from your next period.

The AI

Sessions are written by an AI model from your profile and the gym's equipment. They can be wrong. Read a session before you follow it, and treat loads and reps as suggestions to adjust.

Liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from training, from equipment, or from relying on the app, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending things

You can stop using the app or delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
